Chris dreams up creative concepts to challenge the status quo, then it's up to Kathy to somehow bring the ideas to life. Learn how they make the leap, stay safe and deliver on expectations to balance powerful creative outcomes with logistical realities.

Wednesday, June 27
10-10:45 a.m. | Round-Robin Education 1

Presented by Liz Caruso

Your attendees could choose to go to a hundred other events, so why would they choose yours? Event planners have become experiential masters, content marketers and more in order to grab the attention of their audience. In this session, we're going to look at events from a big picture perspective and talk about how various things play a huge role in your attendee's love for you and your brand.

Presented by Garland Preddy

Relationships can make or break a deal. Creating and maintaining good relationships between planners and suppliers is essential for both parties during the contracting phase and the event itself. And what about afterward? Learn how to manage expectations, mitigate disappointments and develop solutions to ensure relationships work in your favor.

Moderated by Chris Gasbarro

Convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) and destination marketing organizations (DMOs) are essential when selling the city, properties and destination for any market. What is the best way to utilize them and what can they offer? What structure is best for both those working for the organization and those working with the organization? Come learn from your industry peers about the inner mechanics of evaluating a piece of business, as well as the resources available to all planners and partners.

11-11:45 a.m. | Round-Robin Education 2 (See Descriptions Above)
